Made my almost-annual pilgrimage via ferry to the city by the bay with Aunt Annie.
The ferry ride from Alameda is half the fun.
First stop? Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. And what a bowl it was.
Then on to Ghirardelli Square.

…a hot fudge Sunday.

Then off to the Buena Vista (the “BV”, to locals) for Irish Coffee.
