Thanks to my parents herculean efforts, the T@B is available for my every camping whim.
So why not take advantage of the cool fall weather and snag a weekend at my favorite local campground: Beacon Hill, in Intercourse, PA.
Since Glenn was hoping for a full year without the T@B, I’m flying solo this weekend. This us the Touareg’s maiden camping voyage, and Casper proved to be a worthy successor to “Dagmar” (the evil Saab). Controlled, easy handling through the rolling hills of Lancaster, PA.
I got a new site to me: #20, near the entrance, with a spectacular view of Amish Farmland.
Went to Stolzfus meats for some bacon and saw this old car:
Came back to find a 6-mule team baling hay in the neighboring field.
Then, wonder of wonders, hot air balloons fly over!
And the Amish kids are just coming by with the baked goody cart.
Glenn – are you sure you won’t join me?
Wanted to be with you…even before I read about the baked goodie cart. Love to you. Murph
