Picked up my brother Tim in Albuquerque and had lunch at Frontier.
Then we drove back to Black Canyon Campground and on up the “ski basin”. I thought the campground area was nice, but driving up the winding road past 10,000 foot, I wished I had made the trip earlier.
When the Western Tent Caterpillars aren’t destroying aspen trees, they like to hang out on signs describing how they destroy aspen trees.
On to Colorado.
GORGEOUS pictures. Driving the Million Dollar Highway over Red Mountain Pass?
I think so. Heading to Silverton now.
I am enjoying this immensely!
